This international conference aims to explore a repressed history of collaborative translation. It will contextualize contemporary translation practices and chart the spectral presence of collaborative translation in the evolution of translation theory, which in Europe has traditionally privileged an individualistic model and occluded the presence of widespread collaborative forms of translation.
